Caoimhe Scolard

Caoimhe Scolard is the Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) Lead for AIB; where she has worked for the last six years. She has driven their D&I agenda forward, with AIB recently being the first financial institution to achieve Investors in Diversity Silver accreditation. Caoimhe has many year’s experience in HR and is hugely passionate about all things diversity and inclusion (D&I) and possesses significant expertise in this area. 

 For Caoimhe, what D&I boils down to is honouring fundamental human rights. Moreover, the basics of diversity and inclusion align to her core personal values of compassion, integrity and open-mindedness. In her day to day role, Caoimhe advocates for, and champions, D&I on all fronts, partnering with the business to deliver real change. In AIB, D&I is central to organisational wellbeing and the sustainability of the business, impacting both employees and customers alike. 

 Caoimhe works with AIB teams, senior leaders, inclusion networks, I&D sponsors and advocates to make the organisation a more inclusive, enjoyable, and progressive place for everyone. 

 AIB's I&D ambition is that everyone can come to work feeling proud of who they are, stay true to themselves, and feel a strong sense of support and belonging. Within AIB, difference should be celebrated to enable colleagues to thrive. In turn, these efforts and the emphasis AIB places on I&D will be felt by our full eco-system; our valued customers, our partners, and the communities that AIB serves. 

 Caoimhe is also an accredited Personal, Leadership and Executive, as well as Wellbeing Coach. She looks forward to speaking to the ICF community on the panel discussion and sharing her experiences.
