About this speaker
Colm started his career as a Graphic Artist and Illustrator in Adverting.
In 1980 Colm sustained a spinal cord injury following a road traffic accident.
After his rehabilitation Colm returned to college where he studied Architectural and Engineering drawing.
In 1993 Colm set up the national charity Spinal Injuries Ireland located in The National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) and was CEO for 21 years until he stepped down in 2014.
While working as volunteer in Nepal for the British Charity Liveability Colm decided he wanted to work as a coach
