About this speaker
Liz Peña was appointed Director of Services in February 2021, having joined Peter McVerry Trust in 2006 as a frontline project worker. Liz worked in a number of strategic positions within the organisation and oversaw the establishment and development of the centralised support functions within the charity.
Liz also played a critical role in growing the charity’s compliance, governance and regulatory functions in tandem with coordinating delivery of frontline and emergency response services for vulnerable persons. Liz is responsible for the increasingly active research outputs by PMVT.
Liz has a BA in Social Studies and MSc in Equality Studies from UCD.
