About this speaker

Mary has worked within the field of education, training, rehabilitation and disability support for the past 30 years. During her career to date, she has held many diverse roles including;

resource teacher, rehabilitation officer, disability advisor, Head of Disability Service in UCC and as a Disability Consultant & Life Coach over past 7 years. Today, she specializes in using psychologically minded coaching approaches to facilitate the potential and enhance the life experience of neuro diverse individuals and those with a wide range of physical, sensory and comorbid disabilities.

Most of Mary’s clients are graduates with disabilities who are challenged in managing life transitions. She brings in-depth experience, understanding and knowledge of the needs of young people to her work, as a Life Coach specializing in field of disability. She has conducted research on the impact of Coaching and Coaching Psychology on young adults with diagnosis of Autism which is published in the AHEAD Journal. https://www.ahead.ie/journal/issue9
