About this speaker

Rachel started her journey with adidas in 2001 as a Marketing Assistant on an intern program. Throughout her 20-year career Rachel has held various marketing roles in New Zealand, Germany, China, Hong Kong, and Russia. For the past 3 years has been a Brand Director leading talented teams across Merchandising and Brand Communications in CIS.

Rachel is a strong believer in the power and potential of sports and brands to have a positive impact on the world. She also believes the power of diverse teams, and in championing equity and inclusivity in sport and business. She is particularly passionate about inspiring new generations of young talent, especially women in sports and business.  

Rachel is has spoken at TedX and several events on diversity in sport and sustainability including Forbes Russia, and WISE Hong Kong. Rachel has been a judge for the Russian Effie Marketing awards in 2019 and 2020.

In addition to her adidas career Rachel has also represented New Zealand Women’s Football at the FIFA Women's World Cup finals in 2007 and the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.
