In 1993 Colm set up the national charity Spinal Injuries Ireland located in The National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) and was CEO for 21 years until he stepped down in 2014. Colm has just finished filming and editing the first online self-defence course for Wheelchair users with International Martial Arts organisation Defence Lab
